Lincoln Hills Foundation Presents Grant To

Alzheimer's Caregivers' Support Group

Vern Chong, President of the Lincoln Hills Foundation, presents a check for $1300 to the members of the Steering Committee of the Alzheimer's Caregivers' Support Group. This grant will enable the support group to have speakers to address various aspects of the disease, to give good care giving suggestions and also to to expand their lending library.

FOUNDATION’S BINGO

The room is filled with high expectations and happy voices as the bingo game begins. With a hush all eyes focus on the bingo cards as the calling begins. Excitement builds and then someone yells BINGO! Hands raise and wave identifying the winner. Laughter and talk about the one number needed that wasn’t called fill the room as the winner’s card is checked, verified, and the winnings are collected.

Pop-Up card purchases bring the calls of those winners too. Things settle down as the pattern for the next game is announced and the calling begins. What a great way to spend an afternoon helping the Lincoln Hills Foundation help the community.
